Great to meet you!

I earned my doctoral degree in clinical psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology, Chicago. In my clinical training, I have enjoyed working with children, adults and families coping with a variety of concerns, including anxiety, depression, anger, and AD/HD.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I work to empower children while collaborating with individuals from different areas of the child’s life in order to better understand how the child is functioning from different perspectives. When working with adolescents and adults, I utilize an insight-oriented approach in order to help clients gain a better understanding of the underlying causes of symptoms, and to help them utilize strengths, talents, and relationships that they already have in order to effect positive changes.

What you can expect from our first session

I utilize an integrative model with strong foundations in both client-centered and psychodynamic theories. Thus, I believe that empathic and accepting relationships are the key toward helping individuals move towards positive growth.
