Great to meet you!

I am a New York based Licensed Mental Health Counselor with a master's in psychology, a masters in community mental health counseling and am a certified yoga trainer. My niche is an eating disorder specialist. I treat anxiety, depression, life changes, coming of age issues, college stress, relationship issues/couples, perfectionism, self-care, stress management, nutritional and wellness needs.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is eclectic, in that, I pull from any approach that best serves the needs of who I am working with. I like to view the start of therapy like a mini college research class; you are your own researcher and participant. We are going to collect data on yourself in order to see where change would be helpful. I utilize CBT, DBT, Mindfulness, Pscyho-education, Bibliotherapy &“homework”. I support you by empowering you to be an active participant in your life.

What you can expect from me

When we first meet; you will walk me through the highlight reel of your life. We will explore your areas of need. After we conduct research and collect data on your patterns, we will develop a personalized treatment plan and SMART goals to achieve what you are seeking. My goal is for you to flourish and nourish your mind, body and soul into your ideal self.
