Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over a decade of experience supporting adults through many different seasons of life. My path into this work grew from a deep belief in people’s capacity for healing and a passion for creating spaces where individuals feel genuinely seen and understood. I earned my MSW in 2012 and have since worked with a wide range of communities, including children and adults impacted by the foster care system, individuals who are incarcerated, and people experiencing homelessness. These experiences shaped my commitment to meeting each person with compassion and without comparison because pain is pain, and every story deserves care.

In my practice, I work with adults from diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds who are navigating relationship challenges, identity questions, life transitions, anxiety, depression, grief, or a desire to better understand themselves.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is really about creating a space where you can slow down, feel understood, and make sense of what’s going on inside and around you. I draw from humanistic and psychodynamic perspectives, along with attachment theory, but at its core, our work is a collaborative and relational process. We explore together — your emotions, relationships, patterns, and the experiences that have shaped you.

I offer a warm, grounded space to explore and uncover the parts of you that can facilitate healing and meaningful change. And if you’re reading this and don’t think that applies to you, that’s okay. Many people feel that way at first. At your pace, I can help you begin to experience this healing for yourself.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a calm and welcoming space where you don’t need to have everything sorted out. We’ll talk about what brought you in and what feels most important for you right now, at a pace that feels comfortable. I’ll ask some questions to get a sense of your history and what you’re hoping for, and you’re always welcome to ask me anything about the therapy process. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, supported, and a little less alone with whatever you’re carrying.
