Medard Sison

Medard Sison, DNP is a Board Certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Medard has a wealth of knowledge and experience as a Psychiatric Mental-Health Nurse Practitioner working with inpatient and outpatient mental health patients. Medard is a California native and obtained his Doctor of Nursing Practice Degree from Touro University Nevada. He currently works as a professor for a large university educating the future of psychiatric-mental health.

Drawing from his 8+ years of professional mental health experience, Medard works to empower patients to understand their mental health conditions and what avenues of treatment are available to them. His areas of focus include attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), depression, anxiety, acute stress, panic disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and adult-geriatric mental health.

Through a patient-centered, team-based approach, Medard utilizes an array of psychotherapeutic techniques as well as psychotropic medications to allow for optimized results. He actively engages his patients to participate in medical decision-making and helps them make informed choices regarding their mental health needs. As the field of psychiatric medicine is constantly developing, Medard continues to educate himself about cutting-edge therapeutic/treatment modalities to provide the best care.
