Great to meet you!

As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Virginia, I have worked in the mental health field for over 10 years. Currently, I provide individual and family therapy services to teenagers and adults experiencing mood disorders, anxiety, and trauma, as well as with LBGTQ+ and trans/gender non-conforming (TGNC) folks seeking supportive and affirming care.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is person-centered, creative, and trauma-informed. I believe that as humans, we are all doing the best we can to navigate life's challenges given our unique world views, experiences, and tools we have picked up along the way. I recognize that we have all experienced hardships, and my priority is to make you feel safe and seen while working together. I will empower you, support you, and challenge you as we work collaboratively toward reaching your mental health goals!

What you can expect from me

I always offer an introductory session, during which we will begin getting to know each other and you will have a chance to share your story. I strive to create a warm and comfortable environment that allows you to feel safe opening up and beginning to explore what you are hoping to get out of therapy. We will work together from there to figure out what your individual therapy goals are and how I can best support you with reaching them!
