Great to meet you!

I believe that every person has the ability to grow, heal, and create meaningful change. My goal is to provide a welcoming, nonjudgmental space where you feel comfortable being yourself while working toward the life you want to build. I believe therapy is a collaborative process, you are the expert on your life, and together we’ll uncover the strengths and insights that help you move forward.

My approach to therapy

My clinical approach is warm, authentic, and collaborative, blending Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, trauma-informed care, supportive reflection, and a little humor. I’ll always meet you with compassion, but I also believe growth sometimes requires honest conversations and gentle accountability.

My professional experience includes providing individual and group therapy in both community mental health and correctional settings, where I’ve helped individuals navigate substance use, trauma, anxiety, and major life challenges. Those experiences have strengthened my belief that people are far more than their circumstances.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, you can expect a relaxed, judgment-free conversation where we get to know each other. I’ll spend time learning about your story, what brought you to therapy, your goals, and what’s most important to you. Together, we’ll begin identifying patterns, strengths, and areas you’d like to work on. My approach is warm, collaborative, and genuine—you can expect empathy, a little humor when appropriate, thoughtful reflection, and honest feedback. Most importantly, my goal is for you to leave feeling heard, understood, and hopeful about the work we’ll do together.
