Great to meet you!

I love to work with children and young adults using sand tray therapy, art therapy, and play therapy! I believe that it takes a great deal of strength to acknowledge that we are human and that we need some help and support in our lives. And, it takes even greater courage to shake off the negative voice in our head telling us that we are weak, to take the plunge and reach out for help. I know firsthand what a huge difference it can make to have a positive and supportive person in your life.

A bit about my approach to therapy

Whatever a person's age, I believe that we heal in our own time and at our own pace and that there is no one size fits all solution that will work for everyone. No matter how similar, no two people are exactly the same and my approach mirrors this. I work to meet each person where they are and to utilize tools and approaches that speak to who they are in each moment as they progress through counseling with warmth, kindness, and patience.

What you can expect from our first session

When we work together, you can expect to feel understood and supported. If I'm working with your child, you can expect that therapy will be a safe place for them to process their feelings and experiences. You can also expect that I may gently challenge any beliefs or self-judgments that are creating obstacles for you so that you can get on track for the life you desire. Just reach out today!
