Great to meet you!

I specialize in supporting individuals navigating infertility, fertility treatment, pregnancy loss, pregnancy after loss, and general women’s health and life transitions. Many of the people I work with are high achieving individuals who are used to seeing results when they work hard for something but are feeling stuck when their efforts and systems are no longer working for them. These experiences can feel overwhelming, and bring frustration, grief, anxiety, and uncertainty. My work in this area is both professionally and personally informed through my own lived experience with IVF, grief, pregnancy after loss, and the postpartum experience.

I'm a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in Ohio and Licensed Professional Counselor in Arizona, as well as a Registered Art Therapist (ATR) with specialized training in perinatal mental health and EMDR. I work with clients who want a therapist who understands the unique emotional landscape of infertility, loss, and other women’s health challenges without having to explain why these experiences can feel so consuming.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, and individualized. Therapy with me is a space where you don't have to minimize what you're feeling or force yourself to "stay positive." We can make room for grief, fear, anger, hope, and uncertainty while also helping you feel more grounded and able to navigate what comes next.

I integrate evidence-based approaches including EMDR, cognitive and behavioral strategies, mindfulness, and creative interventions based on each client's needs and preferences. Our work may focus on processing painful or traumatic experiences, reducing anxiety and overwhelm, navigating triggers, strengthening coping skills, setting boundaries, or reconnecting with parts of yourself that may have gotten lost along the way.

I believe therapy works best when it feels like a partnership. I'll meet you with compassion and validation while also helping you identify patterns, develop practical tools, and move toward meaningful change.

What you can expect from me

In our first session we’ll talk more in depth about what you've been experiencing, what feels most difficult right now, and what you hope will feel different as a result of our work together. I'll also ask questions about your history, current supports, and what has or hasn't been helpful in therapy before. By the end of the session, we'll begin identifying your goals and discussing how we might work together to help you reach them.

Most importantly, the first session gives both of us an opportunity to see whether I feel like the right fit for you. If not, that’s okay! Finding the right therapist can be tricky and I’m happy to share referrals and other resources to help you along the way.
