Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) practicing in Festus, Missouri, and I am currently accepting new clients. I work with adolescents and adults, providing a supportive and welcoming environment where clients can feel comfortable exploring challenges, developing coping skills, and working toward meaningful change.

My areas of focus include anxiety, depression, grief and loss, anger management, trauma, and couples counseling. I believe counseling is a collaborative process, and I strive to meet each client where they are while helping them better understand themselves, build on their strengths, and develop practical tools to support their emotional well-being.

I earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Missouri Baptist University in 2023 and hold an undergraduate degree in Psychology. I am passionate about walking alongside clients throughout their mental health journey and providing compassionate, individualized care that supports personal growth, healthier relationships, and an improved quality of life.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is compassionate, client-centered, and collaborative. I believe every person’s experiences and needs are unique, so I meet clients where they are and tailor therapy to their individual goals. I strive to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel comfortable being themselves.

Together, we work to better understand thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and past experiences while developing practical coping skills and healthier ways of navigating life’s challenges. I focus on helping clients recognize their strengths, build confidence, improve relationships, and create meaningful, lasting change throughout their mental health journey.

What you can expect from me

During your first session, my goal is to create a comfortable, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where you can feel at ease sharing at your own pace. We will spend time getting to know one another, discussing what brought you to counseling, and exploring the challenges you are currently experiencing. Together, we will identify your goals for therapy and begin developing a plan that is tailored to your individual needs. I believe therapy is a collaborative process, and my goal is for you to leave your first session feeling heard, understood, and hopeful about the work we can do together.
