Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Megan Flores. Reaching out to a therapist takes courage, so first, I'm really glad you're here. I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and for the past fifteen years I've worked with people in just about every setting you can imagine: psychiatrist facilities, outpatient clinics, military communities, juvenile justice centers, foster care and group homes, schools, homeless shelters, and women's advocacy centers. If there's one thing all of that has taught me, it's that no two people, and no two stories, are the same. Whether you're carrying the weight of trauma, stuck in anxiety or depression, or trying to reconnect with the people you love, you won't shock me and you won't be judged here. I'll meet you right where you are.

My approach to therapy

Therapy with me is a partnership. You're the expect on your own life; I bring the tools, the training, and a fresh set of eyes. I draw from a wife range of approaches and shape them around you, not the other way around. Some days that means slowing down and making room for something painful. Other days it means gently, and sometimes not so gently, nudging you toward the change you came here for. I'll always be honest with you, I'll move at a pace that feels safe, and I'll always be in your corner. Walking alongside people through some of the hardest moments of their lives is truly my privilege and passion.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is about getting to know each other. There's no pressure to have the perfect words or to share everything at once. We'll talk about what brought you in, what's been weighing on you, and what you'd like to feel different. From there, we'll start shaping goals that actually mean something to you. My hope is that you walk out feeling heard, a little lighter and maybe more hopeful. Then we keep building: rediscovering your strengths, making sense of what you've been through, strengthening your relationships, and working toward the life you desire and deserve.
