Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and have been in the field since 2009, when I graduated with a Masters Degree in Social Work from California State University, Northridge. My professional focus has primarily centered around supporting individuals impacted by substance use disorders. My passion is working with young adults, particularly with members of the LGBTQIA+ community who struggle to find their footing through life's transitions and challenges.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My style is warm, collaborative, and non-judgmental. I bring years of experience living and working within the LGBTQIA+ community, and supporting individuals impacted by substance use. My approach includes curiosity, fostering self-acceptance, and setting practical goals to help you discover, increase understanding, and eventually minimize troublesome patterns in your life that are standing in the way of being your fullest, most gratifying self.

What you can expect from our first session

I strive to ensure every client feels seen and cared for throughout our work together. Therapy is a process of understanding the internal and external energies beyond our awareness that guide us in both helpful and harmful ways. We all tell stories about ourselves rooted in profound moments in our lives, where the world has told us what we are worth. Through therapy we can start to tell ourselves new stories that better define who we are, what we want, and allow us to heal.
