Anxiety and Stress

Great to meet you!

I graduated from Santa Clara University with a master’s in Counseling Psychology in 2016.

I currently provide low-intensity and maintenance virtual psychotherapy services to individuals (no couples, child or family therapy). I specialize in stress-management, empowerment and coping skills.

In sessions, I can be encouraging, validating, focused and playful.

I am a certified YTT200 Yoga Instructor and am a Certified Mindfulness-Informed Practitioner.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative and strength-based. I draw from many theoretical orientations, but I primarily utilize Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Art Therapy, Strengths-Based, Internal-Family Systems, Narrative Therapy and Somatic Therapy. I am adaptable!

What you can expect from our first session

The client and I identify their treatment goals together. Therapeutic assignments are a valuable part of the treatment process and client commitment integral. I may use assessment tools to track progress over time.

My hope is that clients have more insight, self-compassion, the skills to cope with life's challenges and feel empowered to take steps towards living a life of authenticity.
