Great to meet you!

I am a licensed professional counselor and also hold a license as alcohol and drug counselor in CT. I have a passion to work with women coming from all sorts of backgrounds and struggles including but not limited to infertility, pregnancy, post-partum challenges, as well as self-esteem and general anxiety/depression. I do also work with individuals with both mental health and substance abuse concerns through assessing, building treatment goals, and behavioral rehearsal to empower change.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I feel strongly that therapy should be about meeting the client where they are at. It is about being present for someone else's life story- past, present and future and working to empower and encourage the them to make the changes they can make for a happier and healthier outcome. I can be direct in regards to areas that appear to be impacting the client's overall functioning or dysfunctional patterns that should/can be improved.

What you can expect from our first session

Client's can expect a warm, positive vibe in therapy but to be met with curiosity as we navigate this process and learn about them together. I provide support, neutral stance unless direction is needed and a safe environment to process all life things.
