Great to meet you!

My career in the social work field began as a childrens advocate at a domestic violence and sexual assault center. Supporting women and often new mothers there led me to become a certified doula in 2017. I went on to earn my Masters of Social Work in 2020. My passion and training have led me to work with clients facing perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, disordered eating, reproductive mental health challenges, baby loss, birth trauma, as well as big life transitions and everything in between.

My approach to therapy

I primarily work with womxn and utilize a feminist lens to explore the presenting challange and systems at play. Empowerment is one of my core values. I continually provide education and choices for you to pick the option that best suits you and your family. I will then support you with the choice you make and be the sounding board to evaluate the progress and navigate moving forward. By partnering with clients, we can set goals to move towards deep healing.

What you can expect from me

The initial intake session will be for you to provide information about your background and what brings you to counseling. Moving forward goals will be set and sessions will be used to achieve those. You can expect sessions to feel non-judgemental, safe for you to process, and at times even fun.
