Great to meet you!

Hi! I'm Megan, a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), and I'm passionate about helping children, teens, and adults navigate life's challenges in a way that feels supportive, collaborative, and personalized. I believe that everyone experiences life differently, so therapy should reflect that. Rather than using the same approach with everyone, I tailor each session to your unique experiences, strengths, and goals.

My approach to therapy

I take a trauma-informed, holistic approach to therapy and use a variety of interventions based on what works best for you. Some sessions may focus on conversation and reflection, while others might incorporate somatic interventions, mindfulness, art, writing, music, play, or other creative approaches. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable being yourself, exploring your experiences, and building the tools you need to move forward.

I am committed to providing LGBTQ+ affirming and BIPOC-inclusive care. I believe healing happens in spaces where you feel safe, respected, and accepted for who you are. I strive to create a therapeutic relationship where you feel supported, understood, and empowered throughout the process.

What you can expect from me

In a first session with me, clients can expect a warm, supportive, and non-judgmental space where they can begin to feel comfortable being themselves. I understand that starting therapy can feel intimidating, so we move at a pace that feels right for you.

In the first session, we’ll spend time getting to know one another and focusing on what brings you to therapy. We’ll review your goals, go over relevant background information and history, and talk about what you’d like to gain from therapy. I’ll also explain what the therapy process typically looks like and how we might work together moving forward.

This session is also an opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have and to get a sense of whether this feels like a good fit.
