Great to meet you!

Hello, and welcome! I'm Megan, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida with over 13 years of experience helping adults navigate life's challenges. I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, low self-esteem, family conflict, life transitions, and difficulties with motivation, confidence, and emotional well-being.

I believe that you are the expert on your own life. My role is to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered. Whether you're seeking support for a specific concern or simply looking to better understand yourself, I'm committed to helping you build on your strengths and create meaningful, lasting change.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and client-centered. I believe that healing happens through a strong therapeutic relationship built on trust, respect, and compassion. I tailor each session to your unique needs, goals, and pace, recognizing that no two people have the same experiences or path to healing.

I utilize evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care, to help you develop practical coping skills, gain insight into unhelpful patterns, and build resilience. Together, we'll work toward helping you feel more confident, improve emotional well-being, strengthen relationships, and navigate life's challenges with greater clarity and purpose.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another in a comfortable, judgment-free environment. We'll spend time discussing what brings you to therapy, your personal history, current concerns, and what you hope to achieve through counseling. I'll ask questions to better understand your experiences, but you are always welcome to share at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

By the end of the session, we'll begin identifying your goals and discuss a plan for moving forward together. My hope is that you'll leave feeling heard, supported, and with a clearer understanding of how therapy can help you move toward the life you want.
