Great to meet you!

A little bit about me—I’m a Registered Art Therapist (ATR) and Licensed Professional Counselor who believes therapy should feel collaborative, supportive, and tailored to your individual needs. I offer a variety of ways for us to work together, whether you prefer traditional talk therapy, incorporating creative expression through art, or a combination of both. Throughout my career, I've worked in a variety of settings with people from many different backgrounds and stages of life. Those experiences have shaped my approach and reinforced the importance of meeting each person where they are. While I enjoy working with adults across the lifespan, I’ve found that I’m especially passionate about supporting older teens and young adults as they navigate anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, and the many uncertainties that can come with this stage of life.

My approach to therapy

My approach is person-centered, which means I take the time to get to know you so we can decide together how to structure our sessions in a way that best meets your needs. Many of my clients have lived with a baseline level of anxiety or depression for much of their lives and come to therapy looking for more effective ways to manage it. In these cases, I work alongside my clients to better understand their symptoms/diagnoses, provide education about how them, and teach practical strategies to help reduce symptoms. Together, we set realistic, attainable goals, and I often offer homework or reflections to work on between sessions to support continued growth.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, I'll get to know you and what brings you to therapy. I welcome any questions you have for me to help determine if we're a good fit to work together. We will collaborate to establish goals and aims for therapy.
