Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Washington, a National Certified Counselor (NCC) through the National Board for Certified Counselors and Associates/NBCC Certification and Credentialing, a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) through Evergreen Certifications and have completed The Trauma Research Foundation's certificate program in traumatic stress studies.

I have experience practicing in community mental health as a child and family therapist, with a focus on trauma and ADHD. Along with having experience providing expert witness testimony, I have worked as a substance use and addictions counselor, a victim advocate, have volunteered as a Guardian Ad Litem and have experience supervising associate level clinicians. In 2022, I left my role as the clinical director of a trauma crisis center to begin my journey in private practice. I currently volunteer for the Chelan and Douglas counties regional Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) team and hold a position on the board, providing support to local residents and first responders.

My approach to therapy

Throughout my experience I have expanded my specialties and strengthened a variety of approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), emotion coaching, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Circle of Security Parenting Training (COS-P), Gottman Method, play therapy, sand tray therapy, art therapy and supportive talk therapy, along with many other approaches of therapy.

What you can expect from me

Through the therapeutic relationship, I will provide a non-judgmental, safe, and compassionate space for exploration and healing. Together, we will move beyond symptom management to better understand the root of what you are experiencing. My goal is to empower you to recognize your own strengths, resilience, and abilities while encouraging deeper self-exploration and insight. I utilize an integrative and holistic approach to therapy, emphasizing the connection between mind, body, and spirit. By working through past experiences, patterns and unresolved trauma, we can create greater healing, self-understanding, and more fulfilling present-day relationships and experience.
