Megan Montgomery

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in NY & MA with over 15 years working with families. My areas of focus include working with parents as they grow their family and navigate the preparation and adjustment to parenthood; Expectant / new moms experiencing anxiety or depression; I help individuals who are considering building their family through adoption or already part of an adoption relationship through attachment and trauma informed care. The journey is yours and I hope to be able to support you in your goals.

My training and certifications include: Attachment and Trauma Focused Trained through ATTACh and certification as a Trauma Center Trauma Sensitive Yoga Facilitator.

My approach is warm, collaborative and holistic. I provide psycho-education and support for new or expectant mothers, pre and post adoption support that includes individual consultations to those considering adoption as a pathway to grow their family, short-term attachment-focused counseling with adoptive families, can support adoptees who are considering searching for birth family and offer Trauma Center Trauma Sensitive Yoga.

Clients will receive one on one attention through my person-centered approach. I believe each client is unique and look forward to the discovery process with you in a way that is comfortable for you.
