Great to meet you!

I completed my Bachelors degree at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and later went on to complete my graduate work at The Illinois School of Professional Psychology. I have been in private practice since 2017 working with individuals and couples on treatment related to maternal mental health, anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, trauma, life stressors, and identity exploration.

My approach to therapy

My primary approach to therapy includes the core conditions of the Humanistic perspective with a specific interest in Emotion Focused Therapy. I find value in exploring underlying emotions through processing and healing painful experiences, unfolding the personal narrative, and transforming emotion to reach a more empowered, self-aware, and cohesive sense of self. My therapeutic approach also incorporates aspects of structural family therapy as well as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

What you can expect from me

I am passionate about empowering my clients to build self-compassion, nurture healthy relationships, and establish boundaries in a way that aligns with their values. Within my work, I provide a trusting, supportive therapeutic relationship which fosters the opportunity to access and explore emotions and work towards healing.
