I am a licensed independent clinical social worker with over a decade of experience working with individuals, couples and families. I received my Masters of Social Work from Simmons University and my Bachelors in Psychology from the University of New Hampshire. I have experience working with individuals with anxiety, depression, ADHD, complex trauma, OCD, mood disorders, serious mental illness and life transitions.
My approach focuses on meeting clients where they are in life. Viewing the individual as a whole and recognizing what obstacles they are presently facing. The client is the expert on their life and is in the driver seat. I support with drawing from cognitive behavioral therapy, narrative therapy, solution focused therapy and others, tailored to meet the individual needs of each client.
My goal from the very first session is to understand where clients are and to support with the building blocks to move towards where they desire to be. I offer a welcoming, person-centered approach that fosters a trusting relationship.
