Great to meet you!

I bring curiosity, warmth, and honest observations into the room. I appreciate being an active participant in session because I genuinely love this work. It's important to me to create a space where people can feel understood and appreciated, get curious about themselves, and make meaningful changes in their lives. I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, and past trauma, exploring how these experiences have shaped the way they see themselves, their relationships, and the world around them. My approach integrates Gestalt therapy, IFS and parts work, Polyvagal Theory, Somatic Experiencing, and other experiential and trauma-informed practices to explore the connections between your thoughts, emotions, relationships, and nervous system. I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) with master’s degrees in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Applied Health Sciences, and advanced training in Gestalt therapy.

My approach to therapy

Every person brings a unique combination of experiences, relationships, strengths, patterns, and ways of making sense of the world. My approach is humanistic, experiential, and educational, with an emphasis on understanding the whole person and creating therapy that feels relevant to your life. I often incorporate somatic work and Polyvagal Theory to explore how the nervous system and body shape our reactions, relationships, and sense of safety. Together, we’ll draw from my training and expertise to develop an approach that fits you, creating opportunities for deeper insight and meaningful change.

What you can expect from me

In our first few sessions, we’ll spend time getting to know you and building a picture of what has shaped your life and what’s happening for you now. We’ll explore what brought you to therapy, important experiences and relationships, your strengths, current stressors, and the changes you’d like to see. Along the way, I’ll help you understand what we’re doing and why, offering education and insight so the therapeutic process feels approachable rather than mysterious. Together, we’ll begin developing a shared language for understanding your experiences and a direction for the work ahead.
