Great to meet you!

As a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW), I believe that you are the expert of your life. My goal is to meet you where you are by offering a holistic trauma-informed integrative therapeutic experience specifically tailored to meet your unique needs. Through the vehicle of a strong therapeutic rapport, I strive to provide the safety, security, and unconditional positive regard needed to achieve your goals.

I have been practicing social work intermittently since I graduated from Adelphi University in 2013. My professional background in sports, performance art, and special education has had a unique impact on my approach to working with clients therapeutically. I have received additional training in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and am certified as an Early Childhood Teacher (ECT).

My approach to therapy

I specialize in early intervention and working with clients who are neurodivergent, as well as their romantic partners, family members, and caregivers. I am eager to support individuals and families who are committed to breaking the patterns of intergenerational trauma by improving their social-emotional regulation skills.

What you can expect from me

I often use mindfulness based techniques to support my clients with self-regulation at the start and end of our meetings. Sometimes I encourage client to engage in role-play scenarios to practice approaching interpersonal problems in more socially acceptable ways. Other times I may use music, movement, play and creative expression. Each session is as unique as the client stepping into the office.
