Great to meet you!

The demands of life often force us to ignore or suppress our struggles. This can be a place where those external demands get momentarily shut down and you can feel free to explore your own wants, needs, and goals. Depending upon needs, I offer traditional, individual therapeutic sessions; but also specialize in Geek Therapeutics for individuals who want to incorporate their hobbies and interests into the counseling process using evidence-based methods in either individual or group sessions.

My approach to therapy

I approach therapy from a biopsychosocial lens, understanding that multiple factors blend together making all of us our own unique individual. My graduate work involved increased focus in working with college students/young adults, but I have professional experience treating clients ranging from 4 to 80+. I specializes in working with individuals struggling with adjustment difficulties, depression, anxiety, trauma, and ADHD/Autism.

What you can expect from me

My role as a therapist is working with my client as they identify their goals and make steps towards achieving them. Those goals can revolve around internal processes like healing and growing in self-esteem or external processes that deal more with skill building or making life changes. Regardless of your struggles and the direction you want to work towards, my role is providing an open-minded environment for you to explore those areas.
