Great to meet you!

Life is difficult. Relationships are difficult. Everyone experiences moments when they feel overwhelmed and unsure of how to get their life back on track. With more than 20 years of experience as a therapist, I’ve successfully supported clients working through trauma, grief and loss, parenting and relationship issues, challenging life transitions, and mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Whether you’re seeking support individually or as a couple, my goal is to help you regain a sense of balance, clarity, and control in your life.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is to create a safe, supportive space where we can work collaboratively to help you reach your goals. I focus on balancing deeper emotional exploration with practical, skills-based strategies—helping you gain a better understanding of yourself while giving you the tools to create meaningful change. Together, we’ll identify the patterns that are keeping you stuck and develop a personalized plan toward healing and growth. In addition to traditional talk therapy, I am also trained in EMDR, which can be especially helpful for clients processing trauma or distressing life events.

What you can expect from me

Your initial session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and for you to share what has led you to seek therapy at this time. We’ll discuss your current challenges, your goals, and what you hope to gain from our work together. I’ll also gather information about your history so I can better understand the “big picture” of your experiences and how they may be impacting you now. Taking the first step can be the hardest—by showing up, you’re already moving forward, and we’ll continue that next step together.
