Great to meet you!

Megan graduated from Trevecca Nazarene University with her Bachelor's in Social Work and then continued on to graduate from Southern Adventist University with her Masters in Social Work. Megan completed two years of supervision working with urban youth in a school based setting and adults with trauma to obtain her Clinical Social Work license. Megan focused on Trauma and Crisis Intervention with veterans, children, and adults suffering from Bipolar and Borderline Personality Disorder.

My approach to therapy

Megan approaches therapy as a corrective relationship. She believes she is here to come alongside and be a witness to your story, not the hero. Megan believes you are the expert on you and together we can utilize your strengths to aid in overcoming your trauma and overwhelming emotions.

What you can expect from me

Clients can typically expect to feel validated and as we build rapport, challenged to dig a little deeper to get to the root of the problems. Typical outcomes look like reduction in trauma symptoms and triggers, increase in positive and fulfilling relationships with healthy boundaries, and being able to utilize a multitude of different coping tools.
