Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Megan. I work with teens and adults who are used to “holding it together” but feel overwhelmed, stuck, or exhausted behind the scenes. Therapy with me is conversational and collaborative—I’m not going to just sit quietly and nod. We’ll figure out what’s getting in your way and find practical ways to help you feel more grounded and in control.

My approach to therapy

I take a trauma-informed, client-centered approach, creating a supportive space where clients feel safe to explore and grow. My style is collaborative and compassionate, while also gently challenging unhelpful patterns.

I specialize in trauma and its impact on self-worth, relationships, and emotional regulation. I’m trained in EMDR and use it to help clients process past experiences, and I incorporate Internal Family Systems (IFS) to explore and heal different parts of the self.

I also integrate practical tools from cognitive and mindfulness-based approaches to help clients build insight, coping skills, and a stronger sense of self.

What you can expect from me

In the first session, clients can expect a supportive, nonjudgmental space where we focus on getting to know you—your history, current concerns, and what’s bringing you to therapy. We’ll also talk about your goals and what you hope to get out of the process.

I move at your pace and prioritize helping you feel comfortable and understood. By the end of the session, we’ll have a clearer sense of what you’d like to work on and begin outlining a path forward that feels manageable and aligned with your needs.
