Great to meet you!

I’m a therapist who specializes in working with women navigating trauma, professional challenges, and major life transitions. I have advanced training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), an evidence-based approach that helps process and heal from past experiences that continue to impact the present.

I support clients with concerns such as anxiety, burnout, self-esteem, guilt and shame, and trauma, and career-related stress. Many of the clients I work with are high-functioning and capable, yet feel overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected internally.

My goal is to help you better understand how your past experiences and current stressors are shaping your thoughts, emotions, and relationships—while also helping you move forward with greater clarity, balance, and self-compassion. I strive to create a space where you feel safe, supported, and truly heard, and I view therapy as a collaborative process as we work toward meaningful, lasting healing.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is trauma-informed, collaborative, and tailored to your individual needs. I integrate several evidence-based approaches, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness-based techniques, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and person-centered therapy.

ACT and mindfulness help you develop a different relationship with difficult thoughts and emotions—so instead of feeling overwhelmed by them, you can respond in ways that align with your values. These approaches also support greater present-moment awareness, emotional regulation, and self-compassion.

When appropriate, I incorporate Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to help process and resolve past experiences that may feel “stuck” or continue to impact your present. Together, we’ll identify patterns contributing to anxiety, burnout, or self-doubt, while also building practical tools to navigate both personal and professional challenges.

I place a strong emphasis on creating a safe, trusting therapeutic relationship. My goal is not just symptom relief, but deeper healing, increased self-awareness, and a stronger sense of empowerment in your life.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a supportive, calm, and nonjudgmental space where you can share what’s bringing you to therapy at your own pace. We’ll explore your current concerns, including any personal or professional stressors, and talk about what you’re hoping to gain from therapy.

I will ask questions about your background, relationships, and emotional experiences to better understand the full picture.

We’ll begin identifying initial goals and what feels most important for you to focus on. If helpful, I can also share more about some of the approaches I use—such as mindfulness, CBT, ACT, DBT skills or EMDR—so you feel informed and comfortable with the process.

My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, supported, and with a clearer sense of direction moving forward.
