Great to meet you!

I’m a licensed therapist committed to providing compassionate counseling through various approaches. I focus on addressing emotional, behavioral, social, and spiritual needs, helping you set goals that promote a healthier lifestyle, reduce suffering, and build positive coping strategies. With over ten years of experience, I work with adolescents, adults, and families to help manage a variety of concerns- including anxiety, depression, anger, life challenges, and trauma-related disorders.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I use a variety of effective approaches like Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), where I guide clients through a structured process designed to help them process traumatic memories. I also specialize in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), where I help clients learn practical skills to manage intense emotions, improve relationships, and cope with distress. I also frequently utilize Integrative Therapy to tailor my approach to meet each client's unique needs by drawing on techniques from various therapeutic modalities, such as CBT, EMDR, and mindfulness. I combine these approaches to address the client's specific challenges, fostering a holistic healing process that focuses on both their emotional and psychological well-being.

What you can expect from our first session

In our initial sessions, I’ll begin by learning about your unique experiences, what brings you to therapy, and what you’re hoping to achieve in order to develop a plan to help you ease your suffering. You can expect a warm, welcoming environment where we take the time to get to know each other. We’ll discuss any questions you might have and explore how I can best support you in your journey. It’s all about creating a safe space for you to begin feeling heard, understood, and supported.
