Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who is dedicated to providing a safe, supportive, and empowering therapeutic environment. I believe that seeking help is a courageous step and work collaboratively with clients to foster growth, resilience, and overall well-being. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Social Work and Criminal Justice from the University of St. Francis and my Master of Social Work degree from Aurora University. I have several years of experience in school-based settings, where I have supported children and adolescents with diverse needs, including anxiety, autism spectrum disorder, behavioral challenges, emotional regulation, social skills development, and crisis intervention.

My approach to therapy

I specialize in providing services to children starting at age 3 through later adolescence, teens and adults. I have experience working with anxiety, autism spectrum disorder, school-related issues, emotional regulation, behavioral issues, self-esteem, social challenges, and family transitions and life stressors. My clinical approach is strengths-based and client-centered, integrating evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), play therapy, art therapy, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness techniques. I will work with you to help you meet your goals in a nonjudgemental setting.

What you can expect from me

The first session will be collaborative in exploring your needs and goals for therapy. We will work together to formulate a plan that will help you reach your treatment goals.
