Great to meet you!

Hi! I have been a practicing therapist for over 4 years now, primarily in SW Colorado. I received my undergraduate degree at Fort Lewis College in 2016 with emphases in Sociology and Anthropology, and my Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Adams State in 2022. I have deep passion for travel, nature based-activities, learning, and mental health education. It is important to me to incorporate cultural/systemic awareness into my practice with clients. I am trained/have used EMDR in my therapeutic practice since 2022. I have extensive experience working with PTSD, attachment-based trauma, anxiety, depression, and relational concerns. I also use modalities such as Acceptance and Commitment therapy (ACT) and mindfulness in my practice. I believe that we all hold the necessary skills for mental wellness inside of us, and that sometimes we just need a qualified professional to help us discover those skills and our core gifts! I am an ally and LGBTQIA+ friendly!

My approach to therapy

I utilize a dynamic and eclectic approach that identifies which modalities best fit your counseling journey. Sometimes we will practice mindfulness, sometimes we will learn healthy communication styles, and sometimes we will just process emotions verbally! I tailor my approach to YOU and am flexible in how we work together. It is important to me to be warm, understanding, and open in our work together. Overall, I will teach you the skills to become a stronger agent in your own healing journey and what that looks like!

What you can expect from me

In our first session we will do a broad overview of your reasons for coming to therapy and the life experiences which may have contributed to these reasons. Don't worry, if you are unsure, I am here to guide you! After this broad overview we will continue to become more specific about what our work together will look like. I can't wait to work with you!
