Great to meet you!

I’ve been a counselor for over 20 years and specialize in helping adults and young adults navigate life changes, grief, anxiety, addiction, and times when things just feel “stuck.” I take a nonjudgmental, down-to-earth approach and strive to create a space where you feel comfortable being honest, even when the topics are hard or emotionally heavy.

In our work together, I focus on listening, collaboration, and helping you better understand yourself while moving toward the changes you want to make. I know starting counseling can feel intimidating, so my goal from the very first session is for you to feel supported, understood, and not alone as we work toward a more fulfilling and balanced life.

My approach to therapy

My approach to counseling is collaborative, nonjudgmental, and grounded in creating a safe, supportive space for clients navigating life changes, emotional distress, and periods of feeling stuck or disconnected. I work from the belief that people benefit most when they feel heard, respected, and free from judgment, particularly when exploring difficult emotions such as shame, guilt, grief, and loss.

I focus on understanding each client’s unique history, relationships, and strengths while helping them build insight and move toward meaningful, sustainable change. I value patience, presence, and curiosity in the therapeutic process and aim to support clients as they develop greater self-understanding, resilience, and a sense of wholeness in their lives.

What you can expect from me

The goals of counseling are to help clients gain insight, reduce emotional distress, and develop the tools needed to navigate life’s challenges with greater confidence and self-trust. I work with clients to identify meaningful, realistic goals and support progress toward emotional balance, healthier relationships, and a more fulfilling life.

I strive to create a therapeutic environment that is calm, supportive, and nonjudgmental—one where clients feel safe to explore difficult experiences and emotions at their own pace. My intention is to offer a consistent, compassionate presence that allows for honest reflection, growth, and lasting change.
