Great to meet you!

Hello! I am a licensed psychologist specializing in disordered eating, body image concerns, and anxiety. Over the years, I have worked in private practice, inpatient and outpatient hospitals, university counseling centers, and medical centers. These settings have allowed me to support people with diverse backgrounds while offering compassionate, evidence based care tailored to your unique goals.

My approach to therapy

As a therapist, I take a collaborative approach and work alongside you to identify and reach your goals. I strive to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you feel safe exploring challenges and making meaningful changes. Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, we will increase awareness of thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, build tolerance for difficult feelings, and develop coping skills.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we will focus on getting to know one another and clarifying what you hope to gain from therapy. We will explore what has brought you in, review important parts of your history, and begin outlining goals for treatment. I will explain my approach, share how I can support you, and make space for any questions you may have about the therapy process.
