Great to meet you!

I’m a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who specializes in medication management, trauma‐informed care, and supporting clients with complex mood and thought disorders. My background includes working in community mental health, integrated behavioral health, and structured programs such as IOP and residential treatment. I use a collaborative, strengths‐based approach that combines evidence‐based medication practices with supportive therapy, CBT, and DBT‐informed skills. I value clear communication and shared decision‐making so clients feel informed, respected, and empowered throughout their treatment. My goal is to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can stabilize, grow, and build the tools they need to move forward.

My approach to therapy

I work with clients in a collaborative, supportive, and trauma‐informed way that blends medication management with practical therapeutic skills. My style is warm, direct, and grounded in evidence‐based approaches, including CBT, DBT‐informed strategies, and interpersonal therapy. I focus on helping clients understand their symptoms, build coping tools, and feel empowered in their treatment decisions. I specialize in mood disorders, anxiety, trauma‐related conditions, psychosis, and co‐occurring substance use. My goal is to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can stabilize, grow, and move toward the life they want.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a calm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where they can talk openly about what they’ve been experiencing. In the first session, I focus on understanding their history, current concerns, and what they hope to change or improve. We’ll explore symptoms, stressors, and strengths so I can get a full picture of how to best support them. I also explain how I work, discuss treatment options, and answer any questions so clients feel informed and comfortable moving forward. By the end of the session, clients typically leave with a clearer sense of direction and a collaborative plan for next steps.
