Great to meet you!

My mission is to normalize individual and couple’s therapy to help people live more vulnerable, happier, and fulfilled lives. My hope is to help people discover their worth and understand themselves better as emotional beings to be able to create the safety and beauty in their world that they desire. Humor and vulnerability have a place in every session with me; I personally aspire towards more balance always and support my clients to move towards a more balanced life.

My approach to therapy

I use an integrative approach which often draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment therapy (ACT), Narrative therapy, and some Internal Family Systems therapy. In my work with couples, I utilize Gottman therapy and Attachment Theory.

Brene Brown has been an inspiration in my career and her research around emotional language supports my psychoeducation with clients and allows a deeper understanding of the individual and overall human experience.

What you can expect from me

Collaboratively, we will establish treatment goals and discover paths that will support you to build the vision you have for your life. My solution-focused approach help clients feel confident in their own therapy, but by keeping person-centered at the center of every session, the client gets to feel empowered and in charge of their own journey. Clients often leave sessions feeling lighter, supported, and motivated to work on themselves between sessions.
