Great to meet you!

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a focus on Grief Therapy as a Certified Grief Educator and ADHD with a Certification in ADHD Clinical Services (ADHD-CCSP). I also have experience working with Bipolar Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, and individuals impacted by traumatic events (acute or historical). I enjoy working with parents of children five and younger to offer tools for emotional dysregulation, trauma, grief, and early intervention for neurodevelopmental disorders.

My approach to therapy

As my education and career progressed I gained thousands of valuable experience hours with trauma diagnoses, grief/loss, bipolar disorder, and symptoms related to systemic oppression. As a member and ally of the LGBTQIA+ community, I have always enjoyed providing a safe environment to share experiences of any/all romantic relationships between consenting adults. I also enjoy working with individuals within the polyamory/ENM community. My current focus is on women who have been diagnosed with ADHD or suspect they may have ADHD. I can assist with psychoeducation, consultation, and offer referrals/resources for neurodevelopmental assessments. Of course, I can also provide psychotherapy treatment for ADHD symptoms in addition to any comorbidities using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness Based Techniques, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and TONS of psychoeducation. These interventions can be used for ADHD and any comorbid diagnosis including but not limited to Autism Spectrum Disorders, Bipolar Disorder, Anxiety Disorders, Depressive Disorders, and Learning Delays. Gender/cultural bias, lack of strong education/experience, and stereotypes of an ADHD diagnosis is still the norm for many providers unfortunately, which is why I have found this expertise (differential diagnoses of ADHD in women and ADHD in general) of value in my practice.
