Meghan Meehan

I have my masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from St. Bonaventure University, and am a Licensed Mental Health Clinician in New York State. While working in the field, I have garnered significant experience working with those battling addiction and substance abuse issues, managing anxiety and depression, and working through challenging family and social dynamics. I am passionate about women's and LGBTQ related challenges.

I offer a person-centered approach and utilize a variety of therapeutic strategies to best meet the unique and individual needs of each client. Each client is the expert on their experience and I work to support them in exploring needs and goals for treatment.

I work with individuals who feel stuck in a cycle of internal chaos and stress, and turn to bad habits and unhealthy methods of coping to stay afloat. Every person's story is important, and I provide a space to explore goals and existing barriers to achieving them. I help individuals work through life's challenges in a more effective way by building on their strengths and empowering them to take healthy steps to find greater meaning and joy in life.
