Great to meet you!
I am originally from Sandusky, Ohio where I grew up right down the street from Cedar Point Amusement Park. Yes, I have ridden every roller coaster in the park and I worked there sing and dancing every summer throughout high school and college.
I went on to receive my undergraduate degree in psychology from Saint Louis University and my doctorate in counseling psychology from Cleveland State University. During my clinical training, I completed practicum, internship, and post-doctoral experiences in neuropsychology, community mental health, and private practice. My training and education has taken me all over the country from Saint Louis, MO to Dallas, TX to NYC, and to Chicago, IL. Now, I am striking out on my own to start my own private practice back in the area where I was born and raised in order to be closer to my family. Currently, I am licensed to practice in Illinois and Ohio as well as hold my psychpact certification.
I specializing in working with neurodivergent kids, teens, and young adults as they navigate a variety of daily challenges such as anxiety, depression executive functioning, social skills, intrusive thoughts and compulsions, tics, trauma, and family dynamics.
