Great to meet you!

I graduated from Centenary University in Hackettstown, NJ with a Master’s of Arts in Clinical Counseling. I also received a Master’s of Science in Addictions Counseling from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, AZ. Through my internships and post graduate work I have been involved with traditional outpatient care as well as higher levels of care such as Intensive Outpatient and Partial Hospitalization.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm and interactive, I believe in asking thoughtful questions that cause clients to think and look deeper. I also inquire about my clients’ beliefs and background to get a better picture of who they are and what shaped them. It also allows me to be sensitive and respectful of cultural needs and differences. Appointments are available by request. I do require a fifteen to twenty minute phone screen prior to the first appointment. I prefer to schedule with clients at that time.

What you can expect from me

It is important to provide a warm space in which clients can identify their strengths and reframe their negative thought patterns or self beliefs. I like to think that my clients leave feeling hopeful and that they have developed a sense of peace about themselves and how the fit into the world around them.
