Great to meet you!

Hi there! I’m Meghan and I’m so glad you’ve found yourself here. A little about me: I obtained my bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Alabama and my master’s degree in clinical rehabilitation and mental health counseling from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I am a licensed professional counselor and a certified rehabilitation counselor. I’ve developed extensive experience across various clinical settings including private practice, inpatient psychiatric care, and intensive in-home counseling for both families and individuals.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I specialize in helping clients navigate life’s challenges including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and life transitions. Through a client centered approach, I utilize evidence based therapies such as attachment based therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, emotionally focused therapy, and EMDR to promote healing and personal growth.

What you can expect from our first session

Through a holistic approach, my own personal experiences with the mental health field, and clinical expertise, I hold a deep understanding of human behavior and resilience. I will always bring transparency, authenticity, and when appropriate, humor to our work together. I am passionate about empowering clients to navigate and overcome obstacles, develop coping strategies, explore their individual experiences, and build a solid foundation for a fulfilling and balanced life.
