Great to meet you!

Hi there! I'm Meghan. I specialize in helping clients heal from and navigate trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship issues and the stressors that make up everyday life. Our work together focuses on you as the expert of your own experiences. I am trained in EMDR and utilize blends of attachment based therapy, internal family systems therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and emotionally focused therapy.

My approach to therapy

I hold a deep understanding of human behavior and resilience through my own personal and clinical experiences. I will always bring transparency, authenticity, empathy, and humor to our work together. I am passionate about empowering you to reach your own goals at a pace that feels right for you. My promise is to always listen, be open minded, collaborate with you, and work together to promote healing. My approach is casual - if you need to join sessions in pajamas, have a furry friend present, or bring your coffee and snacks, you are welcome as you are. If you think we might be a good fit, I'd love to hear from you!

What you can expect from me

I earned my bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Alabama and my master’s degree in clinical rehabilitation and mental health counseling from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I am both a licensed professional counselor and a certified rehabilitation counselor. I’ve worked in various clinical settings including private practice, inpatient psychiatric care, and intensive in-home counseling for both families and individuals.
