Great to meet you!
I am a licensed clinical social worker with years of national and international experience providing evidence-based, compassionate mental health care. My practice specializes in trauma treatment, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for anxiety and depression, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I), mindfulness and meditation, adolescent mental health, and perinatal and postpartum mental health disorders.
In addition to these specialties, I have advanced training in play therapy for ages 3-11, exposure-based therapies for anxiety disorders, and nutritional psychology, allowing me to tailor treatment to each individual's unique needs and goals.
My approach is collaborative, strengths-based, and grounded in the belief that meaningful change occurs when people feel understood, connected, and empowered. I enjoy helping clients gain insight into their experiences, develop practical skills for navigating life's challenges, heal from past difficulties, and discover new opportunities for growth, resilience, and lasting well-being.
I identify as a white, cisgendered, woman who is also a mom of two girls. When I am not working, I am running, playing pickleball, reading, exploring, and spending time outside. I enjoy stories and the way we narrate our lives, it is useful to sometime rewrite the way we think of ourselves and our world around us. I am available for telehealth and in person appointments in Wakefield, MA on the Northshore.
