Great to meet you!

Hello and thank you for your interest in working with me towards your therapeutic goals. I’m a licensed clinical social worker and have been working with people with various mental health and personal challenges and stressors for over 10 years. I received my Master of Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University. I use a variety of treatment modalities when working with clients, but most often utilize: Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Parts work, Polyvagal informed practices.

My approach to therapy

My approach in therapy is joining with the client with warmth and an open mind. I want you to feel heard and understood, while also understanding that there may be a different way to view a stressor or problem. My focus has been working with people with anxiety, depression, adjustments to life stressors, and women’s issues.

What you can expect from me

Determining goals with clients from the beginning is an important first step in therapy. I like to give my clients tools to be able to utilize outside of therapy so that they can feel confident that they are making progress with their hard work.
