Great to meet you!

When life shifts, your body often feels it first. You might experience a "heavy" fatigue, or a nervous system that feels permanently stuck in "fight or flight." Whether you are doing your best to manage a serious health diagnosis, a major loss, managing depression, or anxiety, learning how to regulate your mind and body can significantly improve your quality of life.

I'm Meghan, a Counselor specializing in Somatic-Informed Therapy for Chronic Illness and Life Transitions. I believe that true resilience isn't just "mind over matter"—it's learning to listen to what your body is telling you.

My approach combines traditional clinical insight with somatic (body-based) tools and mind-body techniques. We won't just analyze your stress; we will work to discharge it from your nervous system. Whether you are navigating the grief of a changing body or the overwhelm of a new life chapter, I provide a grounded space to help you reconnect with yourself.

With 10+ years of mental health experience in clinical and medical settings, I bring a unique blend of warmth, partnership, and expertise to the therapeutic space. You don't have to carry the weight of life alone.

I hold a Master of Science in Professional Counseling and am currently working towards a PhD in Mind-Body Medicine. I hold a Mental Health Counselor license in Washington State.

My experience is diverse, and so is my approach. I'm happy to work creatively with you to find the best way to work together.

What you can expect from me

I really like to use our first session as a get-to-know-you opportunity. This helps me best understand the experience you are bringing into the therapeutic space and how I can tailor my skills to best support you. I like to call our first session "coffee talk."

You can expect an honest assessment of whether I would be a good match for your particular needs. I think it is vital for clients to feel seen, validated, and connected in order for therapy to be successful.
