Hi! I am a board certified psychiatric nurse practitioner who has been working in the mental health field for 9 years with a degree from Stony Brook University. I have worked in a variety of clinical settings, but specialize in child/adolescent care and addictions medicine. I want to make a difference in people's lives and I feel privileged to do the work I do!
I beleive in building relationships as the cornerstone of my practice. I offer psychotherapy with medication management to provide a holistic approach to understanding and treating people, not just symptoms. I believe everyone has a unique life experience that shapes their mental wellness journey. I want to assist my patients to identify their needs and how they can best acheive thier personal goals.
I am a compassionate provider that wants to develop a long lasting professional relationship with patients. I initially do a full psychiatric evaluation, and will continue to assess as needed in future visits. I work in a shared decision making model in which I can learn from my patients as much as they learn from me.
