Great to meet you!

Welcome! I am Mekessia Richards-Carby, a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner with over 20 years of experience working in healthcare. My experience in psychiatry ranges from treating children and adolescents to adults in addiction treatment, as well as older adults as they transition through life changes. I treat a wide range of mental health conditions, including ADHD, depression, anxiety, Bipolar/mood disorders, OCD, sleep disorders, and more.

My approach to therapy

We all deserve mental wellness, and with a compassionate, non-judgmental, and holistic approach to care, I strive to help each patient not only heal but also recover from mental and emotional struggles. My most valued goal is for people to feel heard and understood and to make them feel as comfortable as possible in sharing what is happening with them so we can figure out what will help

What you can expect from me
