Great to meet you!

Hi! I've worked in residential treatment center, foster care, in-home and outpatient settings with children, teens, families and individuals for about 12 years. I currently see clients 16+ that need help managing stress and anxiety, processing change/loss, or exploring identity. I also support individuals managing ADHD. If you aren't sure what's wrong, I can help you identify your feelings and needs. I can also offer a sounding board to parents and caregivers who are having challenges with young children at home.

My approach to therapy

Many of my clients are ready for more guidance after doing some venting or processing. I try to serve as a guide, untangling or connecting your experiences, providing options and skill building that I think will be most helpful to you. I utilize some holistic practices such as basic nutrition assessment and mindfulness and I enjoy integrating clients' spiritual and religious beliefs into the therapeutic process when it's helpful.

What you can expect from me

My style is collaborative. While I may suggest strategies and help you navigate your feelings and thoughts, you will always be the expert on yourself. I am told that I am very warm and open minded. My clients say that they appreciate how accepting and direct I am. I love to teach throughout our time together with the goal that one day you won't need me anymore.
