Great to meet you!

I believe therapy works best when you feel comfortable being yourself and know you won’t be judged for what you’re going through. My style is warm, down-to-earth, and conversational. I want our sessions to feel like a space where you can be honest, feel understood, and also be challenged when it can help you grow.

I work with adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, emotional overwhelm, burnout, and life transitions. I especially enjoy working with teens and helping them develop confidence, understand their emotions, and navigate the challenges that come with growing up.

You don’t have to come to therapy knowing exactly what to say or what you need. We can figure that out together and work toward changes that feel meaningful and realistic for your life.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, supportive, and tailored to you. I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach, so we’ll work together to understand what’s contributing to the challenges you’re experiencing and identify what will be most helpful for you.

I draw from CBT, DBT, somatic approaches, and person-centered therapy, and I am trained in EMDR for trauma-focused work. Depending on your needs, sessions may include exploring patterns and past experiences, learning practical coping and emotion-regulation skills, or simply having a safe space to process what you’re carrying.

My goal is to help you not only feel better in the moment, but also develop greater understanding of yourself and tools you can continue using outside of therapy.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and begin understanding what brought you to therapy. We’ll talk about what you’ve been experiencing, what you would like to be different, and what you hope to gain from our work together. There’s no pressure to share everything at once—we’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

I’ll ask questions to help me understand the bigger picture, but I want the conversation to feel natural rather than like an interview. By the end of the session, we’ll begin identifying goals for therapy and what our work together might look like moving forward.
