Great to meet you!

Greetings! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas. I received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology degree from University of Houston-Downtown in 2010 and a Master of Arts in Counseling degree from Prairie View A&M University in 2014. I have a long history working in social service and mental health agencies. I have worked with adults, children of all ages, and families to encourage emotional and mental growth, self- awareness, and the development of healthy relationships.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic style aligns with cognitive behavioral therapy and on building strengths and improving self-efficacy through short and long term treatment. I have also trained in Trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy to help clients cope with negative life experiences and reach their full potential.

What you can expect from me

My clients have reported feeling a sense of security with their most sensitive issues, feeling heard and understood in their sessions, as well as feeling encouraged to be transparent without fear of judgement.
