Great to meet you!

Are you feeling overwhelmed, struggling with your emotions, or finding it difficult to manage everything life is throwing your way? Maybe you've been dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or simply feel like you're not quite yourself lately. Whatever brings you here, I want you to know that you don't have to figure everything out on your own.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over 5 years of experience, I work with adolescents and adults who are navigating emotional challenges, stressful life situations, and personal struggles. I know that reaching out for help isn't always easy, and I want you to feel comfortable knowing that you'll have someone who is genuinely interested in listening and understanding what you're going through.

My approach to therapy is supportive, collaborative, and tailored to your individual needs. I believe in taking the time to get to know you as a person, not just the challenges you're facing. Whether you're looking to better manage your emotions, build healthier relationships, develop coping skills, or simply have a space to talk things through, we'll work together at a pace that feels right for you. My goal is to help you feel heard, supported, and more confident as you work toward the changes you'd like to see in your life.

My approach to therapy

I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach, so I take the time to understand your needs, experiences, and goals before deciding what might work best for you. I believe therapy should be a space where you feel comfortable, heard, and supported. With over 5 years of clinical experience, I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help people better understand the connection between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. During our sessions, we'll talk through situations you're struggling with, identify unhelpful thought patterns, and practice ways to challenge and reframe those thoughts. I also incorporate techniques such as cognitive restructuring, problem-solving, and coping skills exercises to help you manage difficult emotions and everyday stress. Together, we'll find strategies that work for you, and I'll encourage you to practice these skills between sessions. My goal is to make therapy feel like a team effort where you feel supported while making meaningful progress at your own pace.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is all about getting to know each other and helping you feel comfortable. We'll meet virtually and spend some time talking about what brought you to therapy, what you've been experiencing, and what you'd like to work on. I'll also ask a few questions about your background to better understand your needs and goals. There's no pressure to share everything right away, and you're always welcome to ask questions or let me know if something feels uncomfortable. I know starting therapy can feel a little intimidating, so we'll take things at your own pace. My goal is for you to leave our first session feeling heard, supported, and more comfortable with what to expect moving forward.
